About the author: Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Mariam lived in Brazil and Saudi Arabia with her parents as a child before they decided to settle in Germany. She attended school there and studied American Literature and Psychology at Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen. Today she lives and writes in Hamburg, Germany, with her husband, two sons and two cats.

  1. This does sound rather interesting, and like something that I would enjoy. I used to be a big fan of rock and roll, and used to daydream about marrying my favorite star when I was a teenager, so I can imagine that this would be a really good read for me. I hope that you get the chance to read it and enjoy it as well!

  4. Thank you for presenting my book, "The Distant Shore"! It has just won the IPPY Bronze Medal 2012 in the "Romance" category. The sequel will be released this fall, and part 3 in spring 2013. I'm a rather happy author at this moment! :)
