Dollar Finds

Am I lucky or what? Here's what I got for $1 each:

How I Write: Secrets of a Bestselling Author by Janet Evanovich, writer of the Stephanie Plum mystery series.

Hell Hath No Curry by Tamar Myers, A Pennsylania Dutch Mystery with recipes, featuring innkeeper Magdalena Yoder, the 15th in the mystery series.

The Pegasus Secret by Gregg Loomis, a thriller set in Paris, with a plot reminiscent of The Da Vinci Code.

Unburnable: A Novel by Marie-Elena John. A woman returns to her island home of Dominica after twenty years, determined to face the secrets of her past.

Dollar Finds seemed a good name for a Meme when I found the brand new books for $1 each at a local discount store! I'll bet others have found books also, for $1 or so! What did you get?

Let us know in your Dollar Finds whenever you get bargains like these!

Unfortunately, most of the books at my local used book store are $2 each, although some sci-fi/romance/YA can be $1.
Although I will soon have a large batch of screenplays I bought online, many of them at 75 cents each.
The last book I bought for $1 was “The Knight and Knave of Swords” by Fritz Leiber a few weeks back.

Michael: Sounds like some great finds on line. Would love to see what they are! I never expected to find these books at such a low price and hope I can find such bargains again! This may be a rarely used meme!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I go to garage sales all the time - There is also a Salvation Army that has great books - usually for $.88. Our library also has a used book store that has great finds. Are you going to make this a regular meme?

Kristi: A regular meme, yes. Seeing that some of us are able to find these books for $1 or so. From the comments, some can't.

Would love to have you join.
