Wordless Wednesday: Quince Blossom Surprise


Last year, this japonica or ornamental quince bush had three coral blooms. This year, multiple buds.

  8. Staci: Yes, it's one of the first bushes to blossom! I grew it from seed and it has taken many years to get this far. Love the coral color of the flowers.

  9. Thank you for posting this! I walked by several quince bushes yesterday and could not for the life of me remember what they were called. I kept thinking "kumquat" but I knew that was wrong. :)
