Left Coast Crime gives an award called THE LEFTY - for the most humorous mystery published in a particular year. Lefty winners:

I love the idea of a funny mystery! Haven't read any of these, so I'm off to do some investigating :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I love cozy mysteries and funny ones are even better. Some of these are still in my TBR.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of this list! I guess I would lump cozy mysteries in there with "funny" ones.
ReplyDeleteI completed a cozy reading challenge this year, and one of my favorites was Dumpster Dying, by Lesley Diehl.
Here's MY SUNDAY SALON POST
I have a terrible weakness for MC Beaton's Agatha Raisin mysteries...just great for a cozy afternoon's reading with plenty of British humour.
ReplyDeleteJiAnne, Yvonne: I do love a witty cozy!
ReplyDeleteLaurel-Rain: Thanks for the recommendation. I think the title is
a clever one.
Deborah: I have read almost all of the Agatha Raisin series and think they are hilarious. Agatha is one of my favorite cozy mystery characters.
The titles of some of these alone elicited a chuckle or two! Great post! I'll refer to it again when I want to find a funny cozy.
ReplyDeleteFun list! I used to read alot of Anne George funny cozies. Murder Gets a Life...Murder Boogies with Elvis...etc...they were fun ones.
