A nice selection of books arrived on my desk last week. I'm getting ready for historical fiction, literary fiction, plus a psychological thriller.

Whispers of Warning by Jessica Estevao, September 19, 2017, Berkley Books
The Widows of Malabar Hill by Sujata Massey, January 9, 2018, Soho Press
Solar Bones by Mike McCormack, September 12, 2017, Soho Press
Rebellion by Molly Patterson, August 8, 2017, Harper
The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine, October 17, 2017, HarperLuxe
Forest Dark by Nicole Krauss, September 12, 2017, Harper
I finished reading
Pushing Up Daisies, another delightful cozy mystery with Agatha Raisin, by M.C. Beaton.
Walking With Peety: The Dog Who Saved My Life, a memoir by Eric O'Grey that also taught me a lot about how to become a vegan.
Swiss Vendetta by Tracee de Hahn, a mystery set in the Swiss Alps
I have been enjoying the backyard garden, doing some tree and bush trimming, seeding the lawn with a Sports grass seed mix guaranteed to grow in light and shade, and best of all, watching a nesting Cardinal coming and going from her nest in the tall rose bush.
What have you been reading this summer?
You got some really great books. We would normally be doing yard work this time of year, but our yard is covered in leaves. the leaves are already changing and falling and the shrubs and things are dying off too. I see an early winter coming our way. Ugh... Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteHappy readin',
