I am reading several books at once, according to my reading mood - historical fiction, mystery, thriller, plus an historical novel for book club.
For historical fiction, there are
The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See (Korea) and
The Song of the Jade Lily by Kirsty Manning (Shanghai)
and a mystery novel
The Perfect Fraud by Ellen LaCorte

Your books look tempting. The Perfect Fraud sounds like one to add. Thanks for sharing, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
ReplyDeleteI often read several books at once. I'm a mood reader too, and when one book feels slow, I pick up a different one. I like it best when I read a variety of book genres.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing a little about Sunday Salon!
I've taken to reading multiple books at a time too. It suits the mood reader in me. :)
ReplyDeleteHope all your reads are good! :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to do that too when I am not sure what my reading mood will be. Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteI always have a bunch going too. My weekly updates
ReplyDeleteThese are all new books to me. I hope you eventually enjoy them all :)
ReplyDeleteI’m a monogamous reader, I can only have one on the go at a time.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week :)
I got that one too. I hope it's as good as it sounds.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books! I have two going right now, both mysteries. Well, one might be a thriller, but those genres are so close.
ReplyDeleteHope you really like Island of the Sea Women -- I thought it was good.

ReplyDeleteI admire anyone who can read more than one book at a time. :)
ENJOY your reading and your week.
You are reading a good mix. I usually have two books going at a time and try to mix the genres to avoid confusion.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.
I hope you're loving The Song of the Jade Lily. I can only read one book at a time. I would never be able to keep up with multiple plots and characters.
