I opened this book at the bookstore and decided to try reading it over a cup of hot tea. Intrigued by the story line and the characters, I then decided to buy it, along with the novel I came in to get, Klara and the Sun by Ishiguro.

I am completely fascinated now about A Saint from Texas. It's new-to-me, but I love the sound of the plot. And, of all things, it's set in Texas, my state.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of Ishiguro, and I couldn't wait to read his new novel after I heard him speak through the virtual version of our Houston author series. I loved it, but I suspect it is not for everyone. I hope you like it, too.
