  7. The plot does progress slowly at times, but he's such a great writer that I didn't mind this at all. If you're looking for a dark read that moves fast and is super bloody, you will not like this book. But if you want something unique that strays away from the stereotypical bad writing that plagues this genre, you will love this book.
