Sunday Post: Books and Movies

Two new books for review/feature:
The Day I Died - William Morrow
A Bridge Across the Ocean - Berkley
And of course, a new library book:
 Cooking for Picasso
E-book bought and my current read - historical fiction set during WWII:
The Orphan's Tale
Movies:
We also got a bit of Oscar fever and went to see Lion last week and La La Land and Hidden Figures yesterday. Manchester by the Sea and Fences are on our list for later. How many of the films have you seen?

And what are you reading this week?

  1. I haven't seen a single new film this year. What is up with that?

    Lots of good reading, though...

  4. Cooking for Picasso has been calling my name and I love the cover of A Bridge Across the Ocean. We've been a movie mood lately though mostly older stuff. I've heard great things about so many new movies though that I need to head to the theaters!

  6. I haven't seen any of the Oscar contenders, isn't that awful? Although my movie attendance has been way down over the last year... I'm kinda clueless this year. :)
