Goodreads/Netflix reviews:
Mad About You by Mhairi McFarlane (Goodreads Author) Published August 9, 2022, Avon Books | |||||||
Harriet, wedding photographer, has seen people escape from undesirable partners. She herself has escaped from two, just barely. This is an interesting book dealing with breakups and some of the serious reasons behind them. An indictment too of social media used to spread false information about people and destroy careers and relationships. I found the themes of modern love and courtship both timely and universal.

Mad About You sounds interesting. I'm reading This Side of Murder, the first in the Verity Kent series by Anna Lee Huber. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteVerity Kent sounds interesting too.
DeleteI've seen this cover pop up somewhere and wondered about it....it looks like my kind of book. Seeing your review, I'm thinking it doesn't need to take up space on my TBR. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a terrific week and find time to read a good book.

Just okay.
DeleteI have read that author KL Slater but the one I read was more of a psychological thriller than an action or police procedural type. I like that type of thriller better for me. Happy reading! Happy Halloween!
